Pipe Fitting / Swivel Flange

The Swivel Flanges permits 360° rotation of an outer ring around a hub, to allow easy alignment of bolt holes when attaching to a mating standard flange. For subsea applications, this capability is important when only a single diver is available to align and make up the flange connection.

The outer ring Flange of the Swivel Ring Flange assembly is held in position by a retainer ring that freely rotates around the inner weld-neck hub for quickly positioning the bolt holes of the two joining Flanges.

By allowing full rotational adjustment to align flange bolt holes, the swivel ring flange greatly simplifies the final tie-in process. However, the simplicity of the swivel ring flange concept belies the fact that this specialized device must accommodate considerable tangential, shear, and rotational moment loads for installation and long-term service conditions.

Alignment is an important and critical feature when bolting subsea pipeline flanges together. Stainless Steel Elbow can be sleeved into plastic bag individually, pieces wrapped with water-proof material, carbon steel Elbow can be packed in plastic bags and closed in carton boxes or seaworthy wooden or plywood pallet or cases, clear labels are tagged on the outside of the package for easy identification of the quantity and product I.D. Great care will be taken during operation and transportation, to prevent any damage.
